WHAT OUR TRAVELERS SAY....
Discovering New Places and New People
"Our band organized several trips to Washington D.C. with Educational Travel Adventures. They have proven to be very easy to work with and have maximized our total trip experience"

I have used Educational Travel Adventures for many of our 8th grade trips. This company met all my needs when it came to making itineraries that included the places we wanted to see and things we wanted to do. ETA bent over backwards to make sure my students had the trip they had been looking forward to and their prices made it affordable.
Whenever I think of planning a school trip I do not have to think hard who to plan it with. Educational Travel Adventures is the only company I give consideration to. Simply put, they are the best at what they do.

"I love working with Educational Travel Adventures and there is no other company that I trust more. They are easy to work with and go above and beyond accommodating the needs of my school. They are always prepared, even when it comes to emergencies like inclement weather or sickness/injury. The 8th grade field trip to Washington D.C. is a highlight for many of my students. I appreciate their dedication to making sure students have the best experience and I can't wait for our next adventure."

The service in trip planning with competitive pricing has always met and exceeded my expectations. We have taken trips to Washington D.C., Atlanta, Charleston S.C. and Orlando. ETA provides personal trip planning and they are always helpful in making sure our trips are enjoyable for students and staff. Educational Travel Adventures is a great company to work with. Charles and his staff go above and beyond to make our field trips, day trips or overnight trips a big success. I have worked with ETA for more than 10 years. Our trips are well planned with many exciting adventures leaving little time to figure out what to do next. We at Smith Farm Elementary School go to the Outer Banks for 3 days traveling the coast line and Washington DC for 3 days. Wonderful trips. Whatever we ask to see and do they make sure it is in our itinerary. "

For 2 years now I have had the pleasure of working with Charles at Educational Travel Adventures to help plan our 5th grade DC trip. This company was able to provide my students with a trip that they still talk about today .I love how everyone was only a phone call away. I was able to call at any moment to ask questions about our trip. They helped erase the stress of planning the trip and took care of everything for me. They took into consideration the sites we wanted to see and created a fun filled trip for my students. This company is AMAZING and I look forward to working with them again in the near future.

"I have known Ross for almost 20 years and highly recommend him and his company Educational Travel Adventures.. He has amazing energy and drive which he focuses on taking care of his customers in every way. When teachers attend field trips with ETA they are spoiled (which all teachers deserve more of!) by an organization that is dedicated to their customers. They realize the importance of taking care of their customers and its shows by how long schools have been coming out with them.
Perhaps what is most unique about ETA is that the same person that designs the tours, works with teachers, and answers the phone is also someone who has led hundreds of tours and still travels with school groups. This kind of hands-on leadership keeps Ross directly in touch with teachers and students and is extremely helpful in tending to the particular needs of an educational field trip.
Ross is always looking for new educational opportunities and ways to enhance a field trip. When a problem arises Ross has likely dealt with a similar challenge many times before. He has a can-do attitude and is a supreme problem solver. He also still has a lot of kid in him and relishes in seeing students experience uplifting and joyous activities.
I would recommend Ross Strickland and Educational Travel Adventures to any teacher that seeks an exciting educational experience led by professional and engaged staff."

"It is with great pleasure that I offer my endorsement for Educational Travel Adventures. I cannot think of a more qualified company to handle all of your travel needs. I met Ross Strickland around 8 years ago when he and the Educational Travel Adventures team worked with me on a field trip to Washington, DC. He and his team provided exceptional service. Ross is a consummate field trip educator, organizer and all around great person. He will work with you as you begin discussing trip ideas, visit your school or organization for parent information sessions, and work to support your team throughout the planning and execution process.
The staff at Educational Travel Adventures are courteous, polite, and professional. They have assisted me in providing trips for my students to The Outer Banks, Hiddenite Park, Washington, DC, Biltmore Mansion, and Linville Caverns, just to name a few. The ETA team also booked my first train ride ever with a group of 3rd graders on a trip to the State Capital in Raleigh. Ross and his team are focused on the overall experience for students. I trusted ETA so much, that I used their services to transport my mother and several of my personal friends to Detroit, Michigan for my wedding. I guarantee you will not be disappointed."

"Bonlee Elementary School started going to Washington DC in 2008 with Educational Travel Adventures. I took over the trip in 2010. What a wonderful experience working with Educational Travel Adventures and having Ross as my point of contact. They strive on giving lots of personal attention to planning and executing their overnighttrips for schools "Having
never been in charge of trips before, I was very leery on how to go about doing a D.C. trip. Ross assured me he would take care of all of the planning and all I would have to do was take care of my students and parents.
As we know trips always don't go as planned. I sit on the aisle seat across from Ross on the trips and when the unexpected happened I would look at Ross and he would say "Don't worry I have plan b ready to replace plan a"I never will forget Ross saying to me one year: Cindy, why don’t you do a scavenger hunt on the DC Metro. Divide into teams and give prizes to the winner and runner up teams: My immediate reaction was ROSS, HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?! My answer was: A scavenger hunt in DC on the metro. NO WAY?! Ross does have his way of persuasion... and yes, we now do the scavenger hunt every year. The first year the parents were more excited at the end than the students.
As of the end of this past school year I have retired and passed the trip on to my successor. I will miss not going on future trips but will be happy to know that Ross will do for my successor as great of a job as he did for me."

"Over 10 years ago, I embarked on my first trip with Educational Travel Adventures. Throughout the initial process of determining my itinerary, Ross Strickland was always prompt in his replies, always did his utmost to accommodate our wishes and offered excellent advice on specific details of our trip. It was an easy decision to entrust our yearly trip for 250 fourth grade students, parents, and teachers to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to his company. One year with only days left before departure, Ross was able to help me make a change to our accommodations due entirely to my own failure to pay attention to the details of the itinerary dates. This past year the motor coach company that was contracted by our school district rather than Educational Travel Adventures had mechanical problems and did not handle the situation very well, However, our entire trip proceeded without a hitch due to the actions of Ross.
Due in large part to this company, my school district has traveled to the Outer Banks of North Carolina stress-free. Service and friendliness can not be beat. I have no hesitation in recommending this Tour Operator to other schools in the area. Thank you Educational Travel Adventures! "
